Star Wars Vintage Yamakatsu Standard Card Master Set Complete set of 36 Standard Cards + 2 Winners + Box +++ Start Price USD 575.00 Current Price USD 575.00 Time Left - Bid Count 0 Buy It Now Price - Reserve Price - Start Time Monday, September 01, 2008 End Time Monday, September 08, 2008 Location Austin, TX See more about 'Star Wars Vintage Yamakatsu Standard Card Master Set' Description == Star Wars ==1977 Japanese Yamakatsu Card Set  Here is the complete and extremely rare collection of 36 standard size Yamakatsu cards.  These are regular trading card size, different from the larger counterparts that are more commonly found.  The majority of the images are the same as the large size, but 5 of the cards are "art" cards.  This collection also includes the 2 oversize prize winner cards, 2 prize envelopes, 36 original blue packets, embossed card holder, and box.For being a vintage card set, the images and print type used were extraordinary.  The clarity of the cards can only be appreciated in person.  As far as condition, every card in NM/MINT.  All have four sharp corners and absolutely no creases or bending.  The only "flaw" on some cards is the border showing a very small portion of another card.  This was very common with this set. It might even be universal among particular cards as I've quadruples of a single image all showing the same sliver of border.  You can see more detail in the scans below.  The backs of the cards are all clean and bright.  If you are interested in PSA grading, these would be great candidates.The oversize cards are also in NM/MINT shape.  They feature different images on both sides.  The box itself has seen better days with tearing and creasing on the sides.  However, it still retains it shape and can store the large prize cards and envelopes.  ---------------------------------------------------------------- Click here to view my current STAR WARS auctionsORVisit my store here for more STAR WARS items!
