The Story Of America set was 2256 cards with the Civil War set being 200 of those cards. Copyright Panarizon Publishing Corp. USA The cards measure approximately 4 3/4" by 6 1/4" (same size as the Sportscaster cards) with rounded corners. Issued as a "subscription mail order set" issued in packs of 24 cards each covering a variety of subjects dealing with America. These were issued in 1979, 1980 and 1981. The higher the number, the harder to find as many people that started the set never finished as it seemed like if was going to take forever to complete and the packs were NOT sent in chronological order. Card number prefix is 03.012. (or 03-012- on a few cards). The card numbers were in the format of pack number and card number (example 07.14 was pack 7, card 14). The 94 card packs were printed in Italy with the first 46 packs also printed in Japan. THIS SET IS THE COMPLETE "PRINTED IN ITALY" SET!.
